Title: Help with the Go For Baroque jacket? Post by: septemberstars07 on October 05, 2006, 08:47:17 PM Please help. I've gotten to row 19, but after that I don't know what I'm doing. Like many, I am a self-taught crocheter and I don't really understand what "work even in established pattern" means. I know it means not increasing or decreasing stitches, but how do I do this? If my question is confusing, I'll explain it differently. I'm just hoping someone here has been successful with this pattern and can teach me something new so I can finish this thing in time to wear it this fall. Thanks so much!

"Work even in established pattern" just means to continue with what you were doing in the last row. In this case, Row 19. So work Rows 20, 21 and 22, the same as Row 19. Don't change anything just keep going with Row 19, 3 more times until you get to Row 23. Hope that helps somewhat! Good luck!

Post by: elfetude on January 10, 2010, 12:06:04 PM I've started to make this and I'm up to the part where you have to do the "divide for right front." I'm also confused on the instructions to "work even in established pattern." From the picture, it doesn't look like it's just repeating row 19, but since there's no close up of just the completed work, I can't really tell. Could someone help me out here?

Post by: elle49 on January 23, 2010, 12:12:43 AM Hey, if you're still working on this the "work evenly in established pattern" means follow the pattern on pg. 219. row 19 is basically equal to row 4 in the pattern, so just continue next with row 5 (which would be row 20) and then row 6 for 21, and then 4 again for 22.
I'm actually working on this right now. I'm actually on the lower body portion and I'm kinda confused on the part where it says "working across opposite side of foundation ch" I know it sounds clear but I wasn't sure if it meant to start with the foundation ch and then work across, or to start at the other end (opposite side of the foundation ch) and then work across towards the foundation ch..... so confused...
