Title: Any SnB's in Champaign IL?

I noticed there was a topic posted regarding Champaign/Urbana, IL in 2005. Are there any groups that get together in this area? I've been knitting since Oct 2007, so I've got alot to learn! I have several friends that knit that would also be interested in joining.

I live in the Detroit area, and some of the posters in a ravelry group started stitch n' munch. We've been getting together for three months, and we're already at double what we started.
So, if you don't have a group near you, start one!

Hi! I am in Champaign/Urbana and just started a bunch of new knitting projects...I would love to get together! I also crochet-much more than I knit as of right now.

Also found this GREAT store on Green St. today that offers classes and TONS of yarn!!

Yes, I think Needleworks on Green St. does have some sort of knitting groups. Try looking up "Needleworks Champaign" to find the site, couldn't remember their URL. Sorry.

YES!!!! There is an SnB in Champaign-Urbana!! :-) I've been attending it since it was re-assembled in '07. I just became moderator for it, so I'm trying to publicize it so more people can find it easily.

Our next meeting is this coming Friday, Feb. 27 @ 5:30pm. We're meeting at the Panera's on Kirby ave.
