So Hillary came to Spokane last week (Barack apparently didn't think we were important enough to grace us with his presence, so he sent his wife instead).

My mom stood in line for hours, and I got off work just in time to get in line with her. It was absolutely incredible to see Hillary, and what she can do to bring our country back around. It was amazing to be able to be face to face with her, look in her eyes, and know to the bottom of my soul that she is THE PRESIDENT we need TODAY.

Unfortunately, her plane was a couple hours late... but that meant I got a couple rows knitted on my Hurry Up Spring Armwarmers, which is why this post is relevant. I got up early on Saturday morning to go to my caucus as well. Not only did I get to actually be a part of the decisions that are made (the last two presidential elections were the only ones I was old enough to vote in, and I was a Democrat in Idaho so a fat lot of difference my vote made), but I got a few more rows done again!

So get out there, stand up for what you believe in, and Knit (or Crochet) while you're doing it!!!

I wonder if Hilary ever picks up the needles herself? She doesn't seem the type, but you never know.... she may be a closet yarn ho like the rest of us.

I bet she'd pick up the sticks with us if she wasn't so busy fighting the good fight for all of us.... I truly wouldn't be surprised either!

It was actually the opposite down here in Corpus Christi.  Sen. Obama came himself, but Sen. Clinton sent Slick Willy.  Fortunately, we locked up our young daughters first...   Grin
