Baby's First Tattoo HELP

I am SO frustrated with this pattern, I had to walk away from my project several times. The pattern in the book is poorly worded and leaves a lot to be assumed. I can't seem to get the neck shaping correct......I ended up with 5 extra stitches and just did a bind off on those....now it will not match up correctly.

Any ideas?

If I knit more rows, the front piece will be too long!!! Angry

Please don't tell me I have to frog this AGAIN.

Hi,
I also had a hard time with this pattern and had several bouts of not talking to it. Your post was in April, how has it gone since then?
In the end I just kind of fudged it together. The odd thing was that it did not fit the baby at all. It was to long in the sleeves and did not close in the front. I won't be making another one.
