So I'm just finishing up the backpack, and in the instructions it says:

with RS together, use backstitch to seam narrow ends of gusset piece, 1/4" from edge

Does that mean sew the two narrow ends together? or just reinforce them, like seperately?
Sorry. I'm kind of brand new at knitting...

What it means is, put the two ends with right sides facing each other together, and sew the ends together with backstitching, one quarter inch from the end. Turning the long strip you have, into a loop. It's the side of the bag Wink
