there are a bunch of little meetings, some are in minneapolis, st paul, and there is even a meeting in the south suburbs.  

beware it may take a few days to get approved for membership by the site administrator.  Once you do get approved there is a ton of groups to knit with.

In North Branch here... I go to a shop in White bear for Companionship in knitting.  Or there is the knitter's guild, although you may be looking for something that is more than once a month.  Check with you LYS.  They will often help point you in the right direction.

Hey, I'm in St. Cloud, also, and was just sitting here feeling sad that there is no SnB here - what do you think about starting one?!

so, i moved to crookston, 3.5 hrs from st cloud. but i will be down every other weekend all summer.
june 10-12 i will be in cloudtown. whattaya say we meet saturday, june 11, sometime in the AM, at a cofeeshop? any takers?

MINNEAPOLIS YES!  I'd love to get involved in a group - I'm a crocheter but I'd be happy to be surrounded by some diversity with knitters (maybe even learn to knit).  I'm in Dinkytown...currently a student at St. Catherine's and working part time but thrilled to set aside time to destress and hook up a few things
