I have started this 3 times!  I don't know what I am doing wrong???  Each time I finish the 4th row I am half way on one side instead of at the "end" of the row.  Any one else having htis problem??

I've started the slippers about 7 times and have precisely the same problem. I looked under the errata section and there are some errors in the pattern, but I don't think they caught all the errors because I still can't get it to work. It looks like what should happen is this:

starting with the upper sole, in round 3, *sc in each of next 19 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, sc in each of next 17 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last 2 sc, sl st in first sc to join.

round 4 *...(2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) 3 times.... sc in last 3 sc, sl st in first sc to join

What I think happens, and I haven't tried it again myself yet, is that the number of sc increased in the parentheses part of the round is the number of sc missing at the end of the round.

Maybe that will help?!?!....

I just noticed that "Knitplainswoman" posted corrections for the upper sole that makes more sense than mine. It's further down the first page of posts.

I guess started the slippers many times but i have precisely the same problem too so, what would be a great thing to do so to make the problem solve? What is the pattern of errors...
