I know there are Seattle Eastside SnB groups already, but I'm looking for something a little closer to home.  Anyone else in the plateau interested in a regular meetup - at a coffee shop or the public library?

I also have a friend in Bellingham interested in meeting other knitters.  Anyone in that area?

The Eastside group may be considering breaking into two groups. One more Bellevue/Redmond and one for people further out.

Further out as in how far? It's a stretch, but I'm just north of Spokane, and it seems like I'm all alone in this desolate dryland. No knitters in sight.

Hi all,

I'm actually new in Sammamish (moved here from Redmond in November) and just started kniting again after a 20 year break (I'm 32 now) and would love to meet some people in the area interested in kniting and talking, and probably helping me get on track again...

Do you guys know of any groups in the Sammamish area (or in the Eastside in general)?

Cheers,
Laura

Hi, I also live in Sammamish and have been wanting to start a SNB here.  I was thinking about the library...or the clubhouse at the Knolls Apartments (they have a nice fireplace and lots of comfy couches and chairs)  I used to live there and have several friends that still do! Waddaya think?

I love the idea! :-)
I'm out of town now, but will be back beg. January. I live at the Palomino, further down the road, but I actually lived for a while at the Knolls.
If you want, send me a mail and we can try to organize it :-)

Cheers,
Laura

Hello! I am a new stich'n bitch and I would love to meet and learn how to make more cool things in Sammamish.  I live right next to the library and I could also see about setting up something in the club house at the Knolls (I live there).

Please let me know,

Lauren

WOW, I can't believe that this thread started 4 years ago - and that all SNB msgs were going straight to my junk email folder :-(
So, I NEVER got back to janna...  Cry  Hopefully you're still there...? Lauren I lived at The Knolls when I first arrived in the US, and I'm now temporarily living in Issaquah, until my boyfriend and I find a house to live.
Anything goes for me - The Knolls, the library, a coofee place somewhere - any day of the week is also fine to me, as long as it's late afternoon/evening.

I won't disappear this time - any takers to meet next week ? :-)

Cheers,
Laura

Some good news: If there's anybody out there still interested, Lauren and I will meet Tuesday Apr 29th, 6:30 pm, at the Starbuck's in Sammmamish, at 228 Ave (the one with the drive-thru, close to the high school and KFC). Hope to meet some peole there :-)
Cheers,

Hi Hi! A quick check, did a group ever start up In Sammamish?  Work has been crazy lately, but I'd love to join if there's still one meeting at the Starbucks.  I live in Klahanie, so either Issaquah or Sammamish would be great.

Thanks!

Hi Jen,

We met once back in April but not since then. Maybe we can get another group going again soon.  I am free to meet wherever Tuesday nights.

See ya,
Lauren
