 Smiley
I had to share my "duh" moment! I happened upon this ladies blog where she explains how to add beads to knitting very simply and right where you want them. No stringing on of your bead ahead of time. I mean who wants to do that...right? LOL

Check out this link and have your own "duh" moment!

I saw an episode of Knitty Gritty with Lily Chin and she demonstrated that method.  It's a great episode, she gives little tips and tricks through the whole episode.

This is great!!  I have avoided any and all patterns with beading because of the stringing of the beads and because I have been confused about what exactly to do with it to get it on the stitch that it needs to be on...I think that once I am finished with the move and ready to knit again, I will use this technique for sure!

I love Knitty Gritty but I missed that episode. Thanks for letting me know...I just requested her book called
Knit and crochet with beads from my local library.
by Chin, Lily M.
Loveland, Colo. : Interweave Press, c2004.
Subjects Beadwork -- Patterns.
ISBN:  1931499446 :

That episode on Knitty Gritty was called Tips and Tricks!
